NOTES: This building completed in 1934 was part of William Leiper's Templeton's carpet factory completed in 1892. The design studio occupied the first floor and the rest was used for storage. It was converted in 1982 by the Charles Robertson Partnership into the Templeton Business Centre

NOTES: The 1500 ton press shown in the foreground was the largest of its kind in the world at that time. The factory made insulation and decorative plaster board.
