NOTES: Commissioned by Vickers Ltd and financed by Legal & General Assurance Society, this redevelopment consists of three main sections: the 34-storey tower and 8-storey Y-shaped block, and an 11-storey residential block.
NOTES: This compression arch suspended-deck bridge links Newcastle-upon-Tyne with Gateshead on the south bank of the River Tyne. It was designed by the engineers Mott Hay & Anderson while Robert Burns Dick was responsible for the design of the piers.
