Wapping Hydraulic Pumping Station (former Wapping Project), Wapping High Street, London

NOTES: This was built by the London Hydraulic Power Company to provide power for cranes, lifting bridges etc, throughout inner London, and was the best surviving. It closed in 1977 was converted into an art gallery, which closed in 2013.
