Unexecuted designs for for a villa, Meiningen, for Bernhard II Erich Freund von Sachsen-Meiningen, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen: plan of stables (design E, Oriental style)

NOTES: The commission for this villa was a result of the visit of Queen Adelaide to her brother, the Duke of Saxe-Meiningen, in 1834. Wyatville was asked to design a large villa on a site already landscaped in the English manner. The 'Oriental' version was the preferred design but the project was never begun. This design uses the general outline of the plan of design A, but with internal variations.
