NOTES: Palazzo Vecchio, completed in 1302 and known originally as the Palazzo dei Priori, was designed by Arnolfo di Cambio. The landmark tower was completed in 1310. The Uffizi palace was built for Cosimo I de' Medici between 1560 and 1580 to designs by Giorgio Vasari.
