NOTES: St Pancras Station opened in 1868 while the hotel, also known as the Midland Grand Hotel, opened in 1874. The latter was built for the eponymous railway company to receive travellers through the adjacent St Pancras Station. It was converted into offices in 1935.

NOTES: The QE2 was the flagship transatlantic liner for the Cunard Line from her launch in September 1969 until succeeded by the RMS Queen Mary 2 in 2004. James Gardner and Dennis Lennon were joint design co-ordinators for the liner. Lennon co-ordinated the group of interior designers while Gardner was responsible for the exterior styling and trim of the ship.
