NOTES: Construction on this cathedral began in 1079 in Norman style. The nave was completely remodelled in Perpendicular style to designs by master mason William Wynford and was completed in the 1400s. The Wilberforce memorial is by Sir George Gilbert Scott of 1873 and the effigy is 1878 by Henry Armstead.
NOTES: This cruciform church was built in Early English style in 1352-1361 by William of Edington. It was restored by Charles Edwin Ponting from 1887-1892. The monument to Sir Edward Lewys is c. 1630.
