Collegiate Church of St John the Baptist, Shottesbrooke, Berkshire: study of two encaustic tiles

NOTES: These topographical details were drawn by James Deason while in the office of Anthony Salvin. Shottesbrooke church was founded in 1337 by the then Lord of the Manor, Sir William Trussell and is a cruciform church built in the Decorated style.

NOTES: The TSS (Turbine Steam Ship) Tuscania (or 'SS 595') was a luxury liner of the Cunard subsidiary Anchor Line. It was built between 1919 and 1921. It was later purchased by Greek shipping magnate Leonidas Goulandris (1939), who re-named it the 'Nea Hellas'.
