NOTES: This group consists of preliminary and final, annotated versions of the four Continents, intended probably for the corners of a larger scheme described on the verso of PB971/2(ii) as 'for ye centre, a Model of Prince George & Queen Anne representing Conjugal Love'. These appear to be studies for the ceiling of the Painted Hall, Greenwich.
