NOTES: Leicester was possibly a pupil in the office of Samuel Beazley which would explain the existence in the collections of the Royal Institute of British Architects of drawings relating to work on two projects by Beazley in the 1830s, Cahir Castle, County Tipperary (1838-1840), and Studley Castle, Warwickshire (1833-1836). The drawing is attributed to Leicester on stylistic grounds.
NOTES: There are stable buildings and a cottage at Dorney apparently designed by Voysey, but unlike any of the three designs in the RIBA Collections of which this design is one.
