NOTES: This church, founded by King Henry I's jester and later an Augustinian canon, Rahere in 1123, is the oldest parish church in London. The nave and crossing including the choir are all that remain of the great 12th century Augustinian priory, later restored by Aston Webb in 1886-1898.
