NOTES: The east wing was built in 1402 under Jacob van Thienen, and the tower was designed and finished in 1455 by Jan van Ruysbroeck. The west wing was completed in 1480 and the rear wing in 1717.

NOTES: Construction on the Cathedral began in 1163 and was completed c.1345.

NOTES: Dedicated in 1260, this cathedral is an exemplar of the French High Gothic style.

NOTES: Skansen museum opened in 1891 and was one of the world's first open-air museum.
