NOTES: The sculpure above the main entrance is by Bainbridge Copnall and depicts the Spirit of Architecture and those on the columns flanking the entrance are by James Wooford.
NOTES: Sir Charles Barry was the architect responsible for the design of the building and A. W. N. Pugin for the interiors. The bronze sculpture by Baron Carlo Marochetti was completed in 1856 and installed in Old Palace Yard in 1860.
NOTES: Dedicated in 1260, this cathedral is an exemplar of the French High Gothic style. The west portal, known virtually since its completion as the Royal Portal, was carved by 1150.
TITLE: Reinhalle, Gesolei Exhibition, Ehrendorf, Dusseldorf NOTES: Kreis designed a number of buildings for the Gesolei Exhibition including this to accomodate the health and sports section. Once the exhibition was over the building was converted into a planetarium and it is now a concert hall.
