NOTES: The bridge was intended to span the rocks of St. Vincent from Sion Row, Clifton to Leigh Down near Bristol Hotwell. The costs of building the bridge were intended to be offset by renting out the different levels which would be used as wharves or factories.

NOTES: This neoclassical palace, built in 1799-1803 and attributed to Charles Cameron, replaced a Baroque palace built fifty years earlier by Andrey Vasilievich Kvasov for Count Kirill Razumovsky. It was restored in 1911 by Lukomsky.

Denman, John Leopold (1882-1975)
NOTES: This purpose-built school was erected on the site of Rickmansworth Park house, which was demolished in 1926. The design for the new boarding and day school was put out to tender in an architectural competition. It was won by J L Denman, a Freemason himself, whose design incorporated Masonic symbolism, most noticeably in the semi-circle of eight houses, each of which having an H formation.
