NOTES: Rodmarton Manor was begun in 1909 by Ernest Barnsley, completed in 1926 under his brother Sydney's supervision and then by Norman Jewson who completed the chapel to the house in 1929. The gardens were designed in 1909 by Ernest Barnsley as a series of 'outdoor rooms'. Notable elements include the walled Long Garden and the Wild Garden, situated to the north-west of the house.
