NOTES: The Ribblehead Viaduct was designed by the engineer John Sydney Crossley for the Midland Railway Company. Construction was from 1869-1874. It carries the Settle-Carliisle railway across Batty Moss in the Ribble Valley, North Yorkshire. At 104 feet (32 metres) high with 24 spans, it is the longest and the third tallest structure on the SettleÔÇôCarlisle line.
