NOTES: Formerly a furniture showroom, this was a complete reconstruction by Thomas & Peter Braddock. Charlotte Perriand's patented free standing shelf system was used in the main office.

NOTES: Both Ivy de Wolfe and Ivor de Wolfe took photographs, although the majority were taken by Ivy. As this photograph is signed I de Wolfe, it is uncertain which of the two was responsible.

NOTES: Tecton were responsible for the masterplan, which was given Town Planning consent in 1948, and Skinner, Bailey & Lubetkin were responsible for its development and execution.

Harrison, Thomas (1744-1829)
NOTES: The Daubeny Building was part of a new quadrangle intended for Magdalen College designed by William Townesend in 1733. It was left incomplete at his death, and later refaced in 1826 by Thomas Harrison. It was added to in 1848, 1902 and in 1910 with a wing called The Vines. Originally laboratories, it was converted into bedsitters and a library in 1974 by Ivor Smith and Cailey Hutton.
