NOTES: This drawing is attributed to an unidentified 18th century English architect. Thoresby Hall burnt down in 1745 and was replaced some 20 years later by John Carr. This set of drawings relating to the garden and garden buildings appear to be associated with work directed by John Simpson.
NOTES: George and Thomas Seddon were cabinet-makers and moved from Aldersgate Street to these new premises, formerly the barracks of the City of London Light Horse Volunteers.
