NOTES: Cecil Clavering joined the Harry Weedon practice as an assistant in 1933 and was responsible for the design of the Odeon cinemas at Kingstanding, Colwyn Bay, Scarborough and Sutton Coldfield. This Odeon closed in 1962 and the building was converted into a bingo hall. It was Grade II listed in 1980 since it is considered one of the finest works of the partnership and one of the best surviving examples of Odeon cinemas in Britain.
