NOTES: The snack bar was on the ground floor, with the grill on the first floor. The door on the right hand side leads to the Monseigneur Restaurant at 215 Piccadilly, situated in a double-height basement.

NOTES: The original El Corte Ingles department store dated from 1962. In 1990-94 Torres & Lapenan were commissioned to design a new skin for the original store and its extension around the northern corner. In 1998 MBM was commissioned to design a new commercial building to the south of the store, which El Corte Ingles bought during construction.

NOTES: This museum was built directly onto the rampart walls of the old Fort Thungen, built in 1832 and largely demolished in the nineteenth century.
