NOTES: This drawing originates from a volume containing topographical sketches of castles and country houses executed in a number of different hands from the office of Anthony Salvin.
NOTES: John Sanderson commissioned Newton to extend and redecorate his house, Bullers Wood, which had been built in the mid 19th century. Newton extended the house to the east and west, constructing bays with mullioned windows and refacing the building with red brick. The interiors were redesigned and decorated by William Morris.

NOTES This is the only secondary school that Erno Goldfinger designed. The building has three linked blocks, a central teaching spine incorporating the first floor library. To the west is the entrance block containing the assembly hall, music facilities and staff accommodation. The gymnasium is to the east.
