Lichfield Cathedral: war memorial for the 1845-1846 Sutlej campaign in the Anglo Sikh war by Peter Hollins

NOTES: The Gothic cathedral, which replaced the Norman one, was planned by Bishop Nonant. Work began in 1195 and was completed by the building of the Lady Chapel in the 1330s. NOTES: The Itakeskus Shopping Centre was built in 1984 and occupies the southern side of Tallinanaukio Square and is four stories high. Construction began in 1841 and after Elmes's death in 1847 work was continued by the Corporation Surveyor, John Weightman, until C. R. Cockerell took over as architect in 1851.
