NOTES: Built adjacent to the original Regent cinema, opened in 1926, this cinema closed in 1967 and was demolished soon afterwards.

NOTES: Built in 1923 as a garage and car showroom, the building was converted into a luxury cinema by George E. Tonge in 1938. It closed in 1967 and was converted into a bingo hall. It was designated Grade II listed status and latterly has operated as a casino.

NOTES: Located on the western side of Southampton Water, this oil-fired power station was comissioned by the Central Electricty Generating Board (CEGB) in 1963 and built from 1965-1971. The control building was completed in 1968.
