The house was further extended and remodelled in an Italianate syle in the 1840s.

This kitchen was built for the illustrator, Chloe Cheese.

NOTES: One of several exhibitions designed by Goldfinger for the Army Bureau of Current Affairs between 1939 and1948. In this case commissioned by the Admiralty and designed with his wife, Ursula Blackwell.

NOTES: Witley Park was commissioned by Mr and Mrs Gerald Bentall and was the largest of Patrick Gwynne's houses. It comprised large living and dining rooms, a master bedroom suite with dressing rooms and private sitting room, four further family and guest bedrooms, a staff flat and an office.
