NOTES: This image is from the album of the Gosselin family, who lived at Blakesware, near Widford in Hertfordshire. The album dates from 1867-1891. Ware Priory was the family home of Martin Hadsley Gosselin (d. 1868). It was originally a Franciscan friary, later a private house, considerably rebuilt by George Godwin after 1849. These may be industrialor agricultural buildings on the estate.
