NOTES: The Gustavianium named after Gustav Adolphus, who donated money for its construction, was built 1622-1625. Its significance lies in the addition of an anatomical theatre (teatrum anatomicum) beneath the cupola. This was designed by Olaus Rudbeck, Professor of Medicine in 1663. The building is now a museum for the university.
