NOTES: Chequers is the country home of the British Prime Minister. It was originally built in the mid 16thC, subsequently Gothicized and then restored to its original style in 1892-1910 by Sir Reginald Blomfield.

NOTES: The chancel of the north chapel dates from c. 1300 while the tower was built for Bishop Sandys in 1587. Thomas Rickman rebuilt the nave in 1836-1837.
