SOURCE: William Robertson. Designs in architecture, for garden chairs, small gates for villas, park entrances, aviarys, temples, boat houses, mausoleums, and bridges (London, 1800), pl. 10 NOTES: Some of the plates are dated 1820. This is because this copy of the book is a later reprint of the original volume. The plates dated 1800 are probably the ones that were reprinted unaltered.
NOTES: This was originally designed by Sir Jeffry Wyatville for George IV as an ornamental fishing lodge on a small island at Virginia Water. The building's decorative embellishments were probably designed by Frederick Crace.
