NOTES: The Canning Place development was a complex of office buildings, factories, showroom and fire station planned on the site of the old Canning Place dock, which had been demolished in 1948. Entitled the Strand-Paradise Street project it was also part of a wider development for this part of Liverpool. By 2004 the whole complex had been demolished.
