NOTES: The Town Hall (now Westminster Council House) and Public Library were built in two phases. The older part comprising the tower in the Wren style was built in 1912-1918. The later extension flanking Upper Montagu Street was built in 1938-1940.

The clock in the reception room was designed by Christopher and Robin Ironside and the metal sculpture seen on the far left by the top of the staircase is by Geoffrey Clarke, entitled, 'The Complexities of Man'.
