NOTES: This drawing is part of the Burlington Devonshire Collection. The house was designed in around 1720 for the 6th Earl of Mountrath, although it did not acquire a permanent tenant until May 1725 when Michael Newton, later Sir Michael and the 4th Baronet, was assigned the lease.
