NOTES: Fuller & Jones were responsible for the Centre Block, completed in 1867, while Stent & Laver designed the East and West Blocks, completed in 1877. The complex was destroyed by fire in 1916 and was rebuilt by Marchand & Pearson in 1917-1922.
NOTES: The buildings around the university quadrangle date from the 16th century. The Via Latina - the colonnade with its staircase - was added in the second half of the 18th century and the clock tower was completed in 1733 to a design by Antonio Canevari.
