NOTES: This caricature shows members of the office of Edwin Lutyens (Huddart, Milne, Phipps, Evans, Thomas and Aylwin) all grown fat through eating too much cake for tea in Barbara Lutyens' absence. The Hon. Paul Phipps was articled to Lutyens from 1901 to 1904 and was the father of Joyce Grenfell.
