Cast iron

NOTES: Part of the Port of London and built in 1825-1828 by the St Katharine Dock Company, this was the smallest group of London's enclosed docks. Thomas Telford engineered the docks while Philip Hardwick designed the quayside warehouses.

NOTES: The ironwork was executed by Russell & Brown of Blaina, Monmouthshire, and the masonry abutments were built by Thomas Whitaker.

NOTES: The distinctive cast-iron fountain was executed by W. Macfarlane & Co. of Glasgow and erected in c. 1890 in commemoration of Robert and Lucy Thomas of Waunwyllt. It has been relocated further north up the High Street.
