NOTES: This small airport, also known as London Ashford Airport, was constructed in 1954 as the cross channel departure point for car ferry services and was aptly known as Lydd Ferryfield.

NOTES: Witley Park was commissioned by Mr and Mrs Gerald Bentall and was the largest of Patrick Gwynne's houses. It comprised large living and dining rooms, a master bedroom suite with dressing rooms and private sitting room, four further family and guest bedrooms, a staff flat and an office.

NOTES: The Grove was originally an 18th century house rebuilt in the neo-Georgian style by Welch Cachemaille-Day & Lander in c.1930.
