NOTES: This building was an adaptation and extension of the Waterloo entrance to the 1951 Festival of Britain also by Sir John Burnet, Tait and Partners. BEA was formed in 1946 and ceased operations in 1974 when it was merged with the British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) to form British Airways (BA).
