NOTES: In 1959 the offices for the Architectural Review, located on the third floor of three early 18th century houses was refitted by the architect Ian McCallum to provide an illusion of continuing space by the use of louvred screens, floor to ceiling mirrors and various lighting systems.

NOTES: The building was designed by Michael Rosenauer with Hugh Casson and Misha Black amongst others, responsible for the interiors. The library was designed by Neville and Mary Ward and Frank Austin including the furniture.
NOTES: The medieval parish church of St Mary's, Barnes, was severely damaged by fire in 1978. Edward Cullinan Architects were responisble for its rebuilding, which was completed in 1984.
