NOTES: The architect owners designed this holiday house for ten people in the minimum area possible. This image is one of many taken for the book 'New single-storey houses' by Penelope Whiting (London: The Architectural Press, 1966). It appeared in the publication on p.87.

NOTES: The house was restored and remodelled with a wing containing nursery accommodation and guest bedroom on the first floor and kitchens and a servants' hall on the ground floor. It is now the 6th form centre of the Stratford-upon-Avon Grammar School for Girls.

NOTES: This house was built in the 1900s and had lain empty for eighteen years. Its renovation by Norman & Dawbarn consisted of a new garage with flat above, a new terrace, complete renewal of all services, new bathrooms, cooking, heating, reconstruction of kitchens, new fireplaces, library, and general decorations.
