NOTES: Built as the Grosvenor, this cinema was taken into the Odeon circuit in 1937 and renamed as such in 1941. It was taken over by an independent and renamed Ace in 1981 only to close in 1986. It became Grade II listed in 1981 and the listing was raised to Grade II* in 1988. It was the Grosvenor Cine / Bar Experience and Studio Warehouse nightclub from 1991. It was taken over in c. 2000 by the Zoroastrian Centre for Europe and has since been used as a church.
NOTES: Located by the River Thames, this development comprised 1200 private flats built round a central square containing a sports centre with a swimming pool and squash court, a restaurant and shopping arcade.
