NOTES: Taken over by Panton Films and renamed the Coronet in 1981, the cinema closed in July 1988. It was demolished a month later to make way for a car park, which was replaced by Metro Central Heights, a residential block, in 2008.

NOTES: This theatre was designed by C. J. Phipps and opened in 1888. The bars and foyer were refurbished in Art Deco style by Michael Rosenauer in 1932-1933. It was awarded Grade II listed status in 1960.
