NOTES: Built as a Jacobean house in c. 1610-1620, Witley Court was substantially rebuilt and extended in 1695. The house is seen here before John Nash's remodelling of c. 1806. This drawing is in a sketchbook compiled by Repton (1798 to circa 1805) while working in the office of John Nash.
