NOTES: Built as a hospice and almshouse, it was not completed until 1749, owing to cost constraints and reductions to the project imposed by the aldermen of Marseille. The central chapel was erected between 1679 and 1704, although Puget died before its completion. After becoming derelict in the 20th century, it was completely restored in 1986 and is now a museum.
NOTES: Also known as the Hotel-Dieu de Beaune, it was founded as a charitable almshouse and hospital for the poor in 1443 by Nicholas Rollin, Chancellor of Burgundy. It is now a museum.
