Time Life building, New Bond Street, London: the first-floor reception room seen from the top of the stairs

NOTES: The building was designed by Michael Rosenauer with Hugh Casson and Misha Black amongst others, responsible for the interiors. The 20 ft high curtains are designed by F. H. K. Henrion, based on an old engraving. The decorative panels applied to the stair handrail seen in the foreground are by R. Y. Gooden and Ellis Miles. The armchairs are by R. D. Rusell.
