NOTES: This house, one of the largest private residences in San Francisco, was built for Bertha and William Haas in 1886 and continued to be lived in by their descendants until the end of the 1970s. Since then it has been the offices of the Foundation for San Francisco's Architectural Heritage and is open for tours.
