NOTES: The cemetery was laid out by Foster within the former quarry from which stone for the docks and 18th century buildings had been removed. This print is from a set of four prints with a single accompanying sheet of descriptive text to announce the scheme for a new Anglican cemetery in Liverpool and to encourage people to buy shares. These were published probably in late 1825 or early 1826.
