NOTES: This old Benedictine monastic church, originally known as Sankt Knuds Kirke, is one of the oldest brick-built churches in Denmark, dating c.1160. Following a fire in 1241, it was rebuilt with a vaulted ceiling and reconsecrated in 1268.
