Designs for MaggieÔÇÖs Barts, St Bartholomew's Hospital, West Smithfield, City of London: facade study

Holl, Steven (1947-)
NOTES: Holl's contribution to the series of cancer care centres known as Maggie's Centres is located in the heart of St Bartholomew's Hospital, the oldest in London, founded in 1123. Unlike most of the Maggie's Centres which are single-storey, horizontal buildings, this one is a three-storey building deep within the hospital complex which comprises many historically significant buildings.
