NOTES: This is the tomb of Georgette Vierling, wife of the writer Jules Rais (1872-1943), who died in 1896. The architect was Xavier Girard with the sculptor Pierre Roche. The vitreous enamel work on the tomb is by Alexandre Bigot. Originally in the main cemetary at Nancy, it was moved to the garden of the Musee de l'ecole in 1969.
