NOTES: This drawing was produced for reproduction in Colen Campbell's Vitruvius Britannicus (London, 1715), vol. I, and corresponds with an engraving pl. 99-100 of the publication. (See RIBA32855) Hawksmoor's design for Easton Neston was a rebuilding project on an earlier house for which Wren may have designed the wings in around 1686. The wings and cupola shown in this design by Hawksmoor remained unexecuted.
