NOTES: Hungerford Bridge was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and opened in 1845 as a suspension footbridge. In 1859, it was bought by the railway company to extend the South Eastern Railway into the newly opened Charing Cross railway station and the suspension bridge was replaced with a structure designed by Sir John Hawkshaw. Lifschutz Davidson were responsible for the Golden Jubilee Bridges on either side of the existing railway bridge which opened in 2002.
